Big Cat Habitat and Gulf Coast Sanctuary is an ever-growing large-animal rescue in eastern Sarasota County. Founded in 1987 by Kay Rosaire, the nonprofit sanctuary is a permanent home for dozens of exotic animals, offers placement for animals in need, and works to educate the public about animal care and conservation.

Now the home of Frostproof Historical Society, this building was the city’s first library, opening in 1922.
We'll see our Polk County Citrus Label Tour Banner, pore over their Citrus Label Collection and hear all about Buffalo Bill's own 1915 visit to Frostproof's "Liar's Bench"!

Home of Margaret and James Monahan, we'll see the houses where Lindus' family lived while they were citrus pioneers and where their daughter, Lydia S. Cody wrote her 1954 masterwork, "The Cody Family Massachusetts 1698".
Then we'll have a catered lunch, hold a meeting of the Florida Circle and finish by taking a Family Portrait and singing "Will the Circle Be Unbroken?"
