Frostproof had 10,000 acres of groves, 7 packing plants and lost less than 3% of its 1927-28 crop to freezes, drought and storms.

The Red Swan label was used by H. E. Fairchild's Citrus Grove Development Co. for their "Grade B" produce between 1920 and 1950, marketed by W. H. Mouser & Co. of Orlando. The 9" by 9" label was printed by the Florida Grower Press of Tampa.

This label was used between 1920 & 1950, by the Citrus Grove Development Co. of Babson Park. Lake Caloosa is another name for Crooked Lake.

The American Fruit Growers Inc. of Orlando and the Citrus Grove Development Co. of Babson Park used this label for grapefruit between 1920 & 1950. Indian arrowheads were found on the Point in the '20s when they built the golf course.
