Jeremy Johnston, Curator of the Buffalo Bill Museum greets us at the entrance.
He explains the museum's layout and some of the exhibits.
He follows up with some history of the museum, from its founding by Mary Jester Allen, Chair of the Cody Family Association's Memorial Board, together with the city of Cody's own Buffalo Bill Memorial Association.
The collection you see before you is the result of decades of work.
Jeremy and his team of archivists are still dreaming up new ways to present the tons of material.
Of course, the Cody Family has generously donated many of Bufflao Bill's personal artifacts and as Curator, Jeremy appeals to us for family letters and photos to add to their collection.
The museum features artistic dioramas.
Jeremy offers to show us the "dungeon" where much of the work is done.
The collection features many beautiful paintings...
Historical artifacts like the Deadwood Stage.
More paintings....
Here, Jeremy answers a question about the "Wild West".
