When Joseph 49 died, daughter Milla 128 was 27 with young children and married to a Yonge St. neighbor, Steven Barbaree. Son Joseph 129 was 25 and still at home, Stephen 130 was 17, Aaron 131 was 15, Achsah 132 was 11, John Jay 133 was 4 and Sarah 134 was just a baby.
Tragedy struck when baby Sarah died and recurred in 1813, when John Jay 133’s brother, Joseph 129, suddenly died at 25, shortly after his marriage. Full of years, Mother Sarah died in 1842 and was buried beside her rebel husband in the Friend’s Burying Ground at Newmarket.
